Opus
In a prominent location on Willy-Brandt-Platz and opposite the Platz der Wiedervereinigung, the OPUS project was developed for Krefeld’s Job Centre on over 13,000 m² of building space. Around 400 modern workplaces will be created in the building which offers a light, open and contemporary environment for employees and customers.
The entrance area is spaciously designed and as well as communication areas, it has a guidance system for visitors that is integrated into the interior design. Furthermore, the building has a lavishly landscaped inner courtyard that employees can enjoy as a place for recreation.
Special attention was paid to sustainability when designing the project. A mix of trees with different sizes and crown shapes that are suitable for the urban climate make a green statement in the outside spaces and parking areas, helping to break up the urban environment.
The OPUS project will also receive DGNB certification. The building this therefore implemented taking the relevant requirements for ecological, technical, socio-cultural and functional quality into account.
